From Gibsons to Egmont, kayak to floatplane, this self-guided road trip is the perfect introduction to the Sunshine Coast. Explore the region's expansive beaches, lush rainforest trails, and the eclectic culinary and arts scene along the way.

  • Join local guides on a boat tour through glacial carved fjords, past Malibu Rapids and into Princess Louisa Inlet to explore the iconic Chatterbox Falls.

GETTING THERE

GETTING THERE

This is a self-guided trip and requires use of your own vehicle. If travelling via air into BC, we recommend renting a car from the airport.

 

The trip itinerary begins on Day 1 at Horseshoe Bay Ferry Terminal in West Vancouver (about an hours drive from Vancouver International Airport), where you will be booked on a car ferry to Gibsons on the Sunshine Coast (40 minute ride).

The trip ends on Day 5 with a ferry ride back to Horseshoe Bay at a time of your choice. The ferry can also be booked on an alternate day, if you wish to stay longer on the Sunshine Coast. Our team can provide suggestions for pre/post activities based on your preferences.
