Our trip designers are here to help craft the perfect itinerary for your group.
Custom trips are great for groups of 4+ people looking to explore off-the-beaten-path. Combine your favourite activities with the unique offerings of the North Island - from hiking and whale watching to Indigenous cultural tours and workshops. Weave in your preferred accommodation style - whether it be hotels and B&Bs or a few nights of kayak camping or 'glamping'.
Our trips to the North Island are typically 6-10 days in length, and start and end in Campbell River.

On All Trips:

Your itinerary is created by Mosaic Earth travel designers, whether it be a fully custom trip or a pre-designed itinerary to fit your preferences.

All logistics - from hotel reservations to tour bookings and dining options - are organized by our team.

Your trip cost includes all accommodation and activities outlined in your itinerary. More information on inclusions is provided under each trip page.
Guided:

You embark on the experience with our guides in the Mosaic Earth van, where we are responsible for your transportation for the duration of the trip. All transportation costs are included.

Our guides remain with you and your group throughout the trip, providing logistical ease and peace of mind.

Our knowledgable guides offer enhanced educational programming to compliment your daily experiences.

With our partnerships in the regions we travel, we provide a strong link between you and the destination, helping to facilitate deeper connections to the communities, people, and environments we visit.

The majority of meals are pre-arranged and included in your trip cost.
Self-Guided:

You embark on the experience in your own vehicle, arranged by you and your group. Car transportation is not covered in the cost of your trip. We can provide recommendations for rental cars if arriving from outside of the region. (Driving is recommended, due to distances between most attractions and limited availability of public transportation in these remote regions).

We provide a full itinerary for you prior to departure, with all major logistics pre-arranged (i.e. hotels, guided tours, and dinner reservations).

You and your group are responsible for managing basic logistics while in destination. Most meals are arranged by you and your group, and are not included in the cost of your trip.

We provide recommendations and options for additional tours, daily excursions, dining, etc. based on your interests.
